Thank you so much for all of your help with my rather tedious model! I know it might have been frustrating bearing with me and my bungled and massive computer files. On the bright side, I did remember to wear closed shoes, and, I am now somewhat of a mini expert with setting up 2D contour cuts on the "Computer Numerical Control" machine interface. If you ever need help with anything in/around the shop, do let me know, vacuuming/tidying is a guilty pleasure of mine... it is almost like mediation. Also, the MDF I left in the shop is my gift to any students that may direly need it.
I'd like to know if the workshop is going to be accessible to non-furniture design students during the summer as I am taking formative 3 and will most likely want to build my model in the shop. I know it is a bit of a stretch but I was also actually wondering if I could sit in on some of your furniture design classes for fun. I'm required to take a full set of classes in the summer and I don't expect to receive credit given that I'm not officially enrolled in the course, I really just want to dip my feet in the course in the event that you offer it next year. I have some reasonably well developed ideas for some furniture pieces that i've been thinking about but they could still stand to be improved. It's totally cool if you ay no. Can you tell I'm getting addicted to the model workshop?
